The daughter of the brave TV presenter Arshad Sharif is making news as she follows in the footsteps of the late journalist, while the mystery surrounding his murder remains unresolved months after his terrible death.
Young Aleeza began her career in journalism at a young age after being motivated by her late father. It is noteworthy that she chose journalism as her sole career and that she opted to work at the same TV station, ARY News, where Arshad Sharif had hosted the popular game program Power Play.

Aleeza’s first piece for the private news channel quickly gained popularity on social media, with Sharif’s coworkers, online users, and activists praising her for choosing journalism despite the significant risks and threats faced by journalists in the country in their pursuit of informing the public.
Shahbaz Gill, a close friend of Imran Khan and a PTI politician, uploaded a video of the young journalist and praised her for entering the field of reporting. In a social media post, Gill expressed his pleasure at Aleeza’s actions.
Furthermore, he praised the deceased journalist and wished Aleeza luck in the future. It should be known that Arshad Sharif, who was assassinated in October of last year, had complained of harassment before leaving Pakistan for the UAE, from where he then flew to Nairobi. The deceased was a well-known ardent supporter of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Pakistani government contacted UAE authorities following his death as a result of the Supreme Court’s suo moto decision, but despite promises from senior officials, the situation remains unclear.
