Unprecedented Milestone: Seven Players Make Test Cricket History by Returning to Pavilion with Zero Runs

During the Test match against South Africa, India’s batting lineup acted as a fragile barrier, establishing a distinctive record for the highest number of ‘0’ scores in a single inning. In the Cape Town Test, South Africa was dismissed for a mere 55 runs in their first innings.

In response, India initially reached a score of 153 for four wickets, but the momentum shifted as South African bowlers seized control. In a remarkable turn of events, the Proteas’ bowlers made Test cricket history by claiming six wickets from India without conceding any runs. Additionally, seven Indian players were sent back to the pavilion without contributing a single run in an inning of the Test match. Consequently, the Indian team was ultimately all out for 153 after losing six players without adding any runs.
