Train Rape Victim: Medical Examination Reveals She Was Lying

An immediate medical test refuted the woman’s claim that two train security guards had sexually assaulted her, and she has since retracted it.

According to Geo News, the police explained that although the woman, named Faiza, had claimed that the two security officers had raped her on a train from Karachi to Rawalpindi, a medical examination had revealed that her claim was untrue.

The suspect told the police during the initial investigation that the woman was lying and had been riding the Sir Syed Express without a ticket. The woman tried to cover up the situation and acknowledged that she hadn’t been assaulted as soon as the truth came to light, according to the statement.

In June 2022, a woman was allegedly gang-raped by two security guards on a train from Karachi to Rawalpindi, according to ARY News. The details indicate that the woman was being sexually assaulted by two security guards named Sohail and Rashid when she was heading to Rawalpindi to meet her sister. When the train arrived in Faisalabad, the women got off and reported the incident to the railroad police.

The suspects had been detained, according to a statement from the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). The police officer stated that more action would be taken following receipt of the medical report.

In another incident on May 30, 2022, it was revealed that two ticket checkers, their in-charge, and two other people gang-raped a woman who was taking a private-sector train from Multan to Karachi. Three of the five suspects who have been detained thus far in the investigation were found just one day after the crime was reported.

According to The News, which cited local media, the investigation officer (IO) notified the trial court of additional results of the investigation and revealed that the suspects in the Bahauddin Zakariya Express gang rape case had also recorded the victim during the terrible crime.

The IO stated that they needed to recover the suspects’ uniforms and recordings from their mobile phones during the hearing of the case on Saturday. They also asked the court to extend the suspects’ physical detention. The court granted the plea, extending the physical detention of the five suspects who had been arrested: Muhammad Zahid, Aqib Muneer, Zohaib, Amir Raza, and Abdul Hafeez.
