KARACHI – In another bizarre case in Sindh capital, a woman, 30, in skimpy clothes has been spotted roaming on the roads in the vicinity of Malik Society near Sachal Goth police station, it emerged on Wednesday.
Sources quoting the area residents said the woman is mentally unstable as she was taking a stroll in mere undergarments however in the clip she can be seen talking to someone over the phone.
Passersby, who got shocked over the lewd behavior of the woman, started filming her and captured a number of clips which were later provided to the local police station to proceed accordingly. The incident has reportedly created a lot of buzz in the neighborhood with residents guessing the reason behind the shocking act.

Area residents further added that two motorcyclists came after some time, who seem like the family of the woman, and slapped her quite a few times, covered her with clothes and took her away.
Meanwhile, a police complaint was filed at the Sachal Goth police station on the complaint of Asmat Khan – a resident of the same neighborhood. The complainant mentioned that he used to bring groceries for the woman who lives alone in a house. Adding that, he has informed the woman’s brother of the developments.
Furthermore, there are no more details about the legal proceedings against the woman or the family till the filling of this report.
Let it be known that Section 294 of the PPC stated: “Whoever, to the annoyance of others; a) does any obscene act in any public place, or b) sings, recites or utters any obscene songs, ballad or words, in or near any public place, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both”.
