An allegation leveled by a Lahori has landed Punjab police in hot water. According to a news article, a man has been issued an e-challan for his motorcycle stolen eight years ago. He also discovered that his bike was being used by Punjab Police in Lahore’s Sabzazar locality.
Imran, the receiver, has lodged a complaint with the CCPO seeking that he intervened in the situation and that his bike should be returned to him by the police.
The victim also posted a video on social media, which was picked up by the Express Tribune and other news organisations.
The video has gone viral, with many individuals calling for the persons involved to be punished severely.
