Kabul bomber, who killed 182 including 13 US troops, was once detained, deported by India: Daesh claims

KABUL: Islamic State suicide bomber, who killed around 182 Afghan civilians including 13 US troops, was apprehended in the Indian capital around five years ago, a pro-Daesh magazine revealed.

In the recent edition of Sawt-al-Hind, the propaganda magazine disclosed that the bomber Abdur Rahman Al-Logri was once nabbed by law enforcement personnel in New Delhi in August 2016 and was later deported to Afghanistan.

Commending the attacker for a successful attack, it said “By the grace of Allah, a soldier of the Khilafah, Abdur Rahman carried out an attack. He was arrested five years ago in India when he had traveled to Delhi to carry out an operation on the cow-worshipping Hindus in revenge for Kashmir.”

It further added that “But Allah had decreed otherwise, the brother was tested with imprisonment and was deported to Afghanistan. Staying true to his promise to Allah, the brother didn’t go home, rather carried out his operation, his heart filled with tranquility and pleasure”.

Afghan bureaucrats trying to escape Afghanistan along with their families, who were traitors and killers of Muslims, it added.

The statement also added that the coalition led by the US left Afghanistan while the Murtad [apostate] Taliban took over. “From participating in the shameless gatherings of the Rafidah to patronizing the crusaders, the Murtadeen became more and more brazen,” it added.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities neither confirm nor negate the claims made by the pro-IS publication. Some reports claimed that India deported an Afghan citizen who resides in the Lajpat Nagar neighborhood of Delhi as he was suspected of working for an outlawed outfit.

On August 26, Rahman killed the forces, Taliban, and civilians during the chaotic evacuation from the Afghan capital.

Daesh is reportedly comprised of terrorists from the regional splinter groups and it has been active in northeastern Afghanistan as they vowed to allegiance the slain IS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, who killed himself during a raid in north-west Syria.

On the other hand, US forces launched a drone strike in Afghanistan to kill militants but it killed innocent Afghan civilians, including seven minors.

Later, US Central Command head General Frank McKenzie issued an apology and called himself responsible.
