Khatija Rahman, eldest daughter of music legend AR Rahman has married sound engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed.
Previously, on January 2nd, Khatija confirmed her engagement to Mohamed, who works as a Live Sound Engineer with Rahman and Amit Trivedi.

On Thursday, the music legend confirmed that the couple had married in Chennai. Rahman shared a family photo from Khatija’s wedding on his official Instagram account.

Khatija had previously disclosed that she and Mohamed got engaged on her birthday (December 29) in the presence of close family and loved ones when she announced her engagement to Mohamed on January 2. She even posted a photo from the event.

Khatija made her singing debut with Rajinikanth’s ‘Ethiran’ song Pudhiya Manidha. Khatija Rahman sang ‘Rock A Bye Baby’ for the Kriti Sanon-starrer comedy movie ‘Mimi’ last year, which was composed by her father.
