Woman convicted of sexual assault for poking holes in condoms

A woman in Germany has been convicted of sexual assault for poking holes in her partner’s condom, stated in local reports.

The lady is sentenced to prison for six months by a court in western Germany for intentionally damaging condoms in hopes of getting pregnant.

While listening to the case the Judge said that this is a rare and unique incident.

“This case is unique. We made legal history here today,” judge Astrid Salewski said in a regional court in the city of Bielefeld.

Bild the German Newspaper reported that the woman, 39-year-old Melanie, was dating a 42-year-old man, Florian. Melanie covertly made holes in the condom he kept by his bed when she developed deeper affections for him that she knew were not reciprocated.

She put holes in condoms in hopes of becoming pregnant, but she was unsuccessful.

She texted Florian after they broke up, telling him she was pregnant and that she had poked holes in his condom.

After that, the man filed criminal accusations against her, and the case went to court.
