Video Gamer Atif Butt – “King of Iron Fist”

Atif Butt became the new “King of the Iron Fist” after winning the Tekken World Tour 2022 videogame competition in Amsterdam, Netherlands, adding another title to Pakistan’s fighting game community.

An international offline tournament series featuring the “best compete to be crowned The King of the Iron Fist” was organized by the Tekken World Tour (TWT) series by videogame developer Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. The main event in the hugely popular and lucrative fighting video game franchise Tekken is the King of the Iron Fist competition.

The TWT 2022 series began on June 24 with regional tournaments in 16 regions, including Pakistan for the first time. These regional tournaments led up to the final tournament, an invitation-only competition for the 24 players who had advanced from the regional finals, regional placements, or a last-chance qualifier. Played in the Theatre Amsterdam on Saturday and Sunday was the TWT 2022 Global Finals competition. The triumphant moments of Butt’s final battle against Sang-hyun “Jeondding” Jeon of South Korea were broadcast on Twitter by Bandai Namco Esports. The victory earned the former first place and $50,000 in prize money.

Atif Butt has been crowned the new King of the Iron Fist, according to the official Twitter account Tekken. Butt, who is from Gujranwala, said he was overjoyed and that the experience was weird for him. “Overwhelmed and humbled by the many kind words and well wishes that have been sent my way! Arslan “Ash” Siddique, a pioneer in Pakistan’s FGC, also uploaded a photo of himself and the winner. In the final, Ash came in at number thirteen. I must significantly improve. The general manager of the yearly fighting video game competition Evo Championship Series was cognizant of this fact and stated, “Atif Butt making it to TWT2022 Grand Finals while representing the esports team founded by Arslan Ash feels like a giving back to your scene story closing in on its final chapter.” Ash won the Evo 2019 championship and finished third in the Evo 2022 competition.
