Ushna Shah apologizes to blogger for or claiming that he invaded her privacy. Later she went onto deactivate her Instagram account.
The embarrassment she would experience as a result of this doesn’t outweigh the value of an apology, Shah said in an Instagram Stories post. To AB Lakhani, I hereby apologize in the open. I simply don’t want this to weigh on my conscience as I embark on my new path; he didn’t ask me to. Even if he brought in a cameraman without permission, it wasn’t the end of the world, thus I had no right to criticize him publicly.
A few photographers sneaked in, and many others shared unpleasant pictures of me that went viral (and used AB as a scapegoat). Though I did everything in my ability to avoid it, sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. It took a little bit of a toll on me to manage so much, be a new wife, have a nikkah broken into by an unidentified drone, and deal with millions of trolling messages. The tipping point was simply AB. “I feel terrible for posting my complaint online in retrospect. Just an emotional well-being day was all I needed. The social media is a poisonous two-edged sword. What counts is the amazing man I married, the fantastic family I married into, the lovely day we had, and the abounding love we experienced.
“Back to the wedding festivities!” The day before, the bride had reprimanded the guest for not adhering to the invitation’s clear instructions. She clarified that she had invited AB Lakhani of Moovyshoovy out of respect since she had known him for years and he was present in the office where the invitations were being prepared. She then expressed her outrage and sense of injustice.
Shah claims that despite being informed that plus ones were not allowed, the man brought an uninvited guest as well as a cameraman. Even worse, he lied to her relatives by claiming she had given her OK for them to come. She became to be upset as the photographer distributed unapproved images to other media outlets.
