Syeda Tuba Anwar announced Khula from her husband who is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and famous TV personality Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
“After a 14-month separation, it became evident that there was no chance of reconciliation, and I had no choice but to take Khullah from Court,” Anwar wrote on Instagram.
Through the courts, Syeda Tuba Anwar has won Khula, or divorce, from her husband, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
Tuba has legally confirmed that she is no longer seeing Dr. Aamir Liaquat after filing a Khula after a long separation.
She shared a statement on her Instagram that reads, “With a very heavy heart, I want to make people aware of a development in my life. My close family and friends are aware that after a separation of 14 months it was evident that there was no hope for reconciliation in sight and I had opt to take Khula from Court.”
“I cannot express how difficult it has been but I trust Allah and His plans. I would appeal to everyone that my decision is respected during these testing times,” her statement added.
Tuba began appearing on television with Dr. Aamir on his various television shows soon after they married. Tuba was also a factor in Aamir Liaquat’s divorce from his first wife, Bushra Liaquat.
She changed her name from Syeda Tuba Aamir to Syeda Tuba Anwar a few days ago.
