To be Father-in-law steps up for injured son-in-law

A surprising admission was made by former brilliant all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi regarding Shaheen Shah Afridi’s current knee surgery in London. Speaking to a local television channel, Shahid said that Shaheen was not getting financial assistance for his recovery from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Shaheen paid for his own travel to England for treatment. He contacted the doctor I had set up for him there. Shaheen receives nothing from PCB, Shahid, Shaheen’s future father-in-law disclosed. Due to a knee injury, Shaheen was unable to compete in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup. For his medical care, he traveled to London. The left-arm premium fast bowler is improving his rehabilitation as he posts more videos from his healing process. He was a part of Pakistan’s squad for the T20 World Cup in 2022 as well as the tri-nation match in New Zealand.

Injury-plagued Pakistani fast Shaheen Shah Afridi will finish his knee rehabilitation in London. Even though the PCB has said he should be fully recovered before the T20 World Cup in October, the board’s medical advisory council will ultimately decide whether or not he can resume playing cricket. By making this decision, the PCB abandoned its original plan, which stipulated that Afridi would travel with the team while receiving treatment. During the first Test match in Galle against Sri Lanka in July, Afridi suffered right knee ligament damage while fielding. He has been sidelined since then, but in August, traveled to the Netherlands for a three-match ODI series along with the squad and a few medics.

Afridi will play in just one game, as Babar Azam told the team before they went for Rotterdam. However, he set off on that tour, and it was then that the full depth of the wounds became clear. Afridi was excluded from both the Asia Cup and a seven-match T20I series against England at home in September. Shaheen Shah Afridi needs continuous, concentrated care for her knee, according to the PCB’s top medical officer, Najeebullah Soomro, and London has some of the greatest sports medicine and rehabilitation facilities in the world. They have chosen to send him there in the player’s best interest.

We are certain Shaheen will regain full fitness before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup because the medical department will receive daily feedback on his development while he is in London.

Premature end of Boom Boom’s last PSL

The 22-year-old Afridi has established himself as Pakistan’s primary bowler in all three formats in recent years. He and Babar are the two most well-known and marketable cricket players in Pakistan. He tends to play in the majority of Pakistan’s international matches, giving the side a real threat to steal wickets, particularly during the Power play.
