We recently learned that Hareem Shah was detained in Turkey for bringing a significant amount of gold and cash into the airport. Shah and her husband were traveling from Turkey to Muscat. They were caught after the Turkish police found a sizable quantity of gold and cash on them. Turkish authorities are looking into both of them.
Shah had been the subject of numerous disputes. On January 28, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) requested that many banks place a freeze on Hareem Shah’s accounts. The social media personality also got into legal trouble following her SnackVideo on top of everything else. She is shown seated with stacks of British pounds in the video that was made public. Shah boasted about the money while claiming that it was the first time she had brought such a “large quantity” from Pakistan to London.
Shah said on her Instagram account that she was ill and was now in Turkey. Her footage was released after she was mandated to return to Pakistan and appear before the FIA by April 18 by the Sindh High Court. Shah’s most recent health update has been making the rounds on the internet, though it is unclear if this is Hareem’s attempt to evade the probe or if she is actually ill.

FIA launches money laundering probe against TikTok star Hareem Shah
Due to her appearance at the Pakistani Foreign Office, Shah received a lot of criticism, and her unauthorized entrance to the location was criticized. Imran Khan, Pakistan’s prime minister, even commissioned an investigation into how she gained entrance to the government complex. She was also criticized for her remarks on Sheikh Rasheed, a federal official, and politician who is currently Pakistan’s interior minister. Shah also verified a video that her friend leaked and uploaded in which she accused the leader of sexual behavior.
After engaging in an offensive and obscene argument with Mufti Qawi, she made headlines once more in 2021. The latter, according to her, allegedly harassed both her and her cousin. The accused’s title of “Mufti” was taken away following the incident, and he is now known by the name Abdul Qawi.
