After launch of 1122 rescue services 16 years after Punjab, the Sindh Government is putting in ample amount of money on its ads campaigns.

According to Murtaza Wahan’s news conference, these ambulances will be stationed on major highways every 50 kilometers. These ambulances are fully equipped with a ventilator and oxygen supply, as well as paramedics to provide first aid.

These ambulances will be able to reach Major Sites in case of any Emergency within 10 to 15 minutes. According to a spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh, this rescue project will be available in all Sindh districts soon.

This service was first offered by the Punjab government in 2004, giving it an 18-year head start over Sindh. According to reports in the media, the government has purchased 288 new ambulances and received a $70 million loan from the World Bank to start the service.

Authorities are reportedly delivering additional ambulances to the health department, according to sources. They also stated that the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has started planning the mobilisation of Rescue 1122 for the next week.
