The General President of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, was present at the inauguration event. He emphasised the importance of creating a virtual simulation environment to activate as many senses as possible, including vision, hearing, touch, and even smell, in order to fully use the presidency of the Two Holy Mosques.
Sheikh Al-Sudais stated that the Two Holy Mosques house important religious and historical relics that must be digitised and shared with the world with the Saudi leadership’s assistance.

A new high-resolution photograph of Hajr-e-Aswad has been released.
In May of this year, the Saudi Arabian government released a new high-resolution image of Hajr-e-Aswad captured using Focus Stack Panorama Technology by the Engineering Studies Department of the Reasah Alharmain.
The photograph is 49,0000 megapixels, according to the Saudi official. The 1050 images took 50 hours of work to process. The Saudi ministry shared the unusual photograph on Monday.
