Reham Khan is said to have averted an attack while returning from her nephew’s wedding late Sunday night.
Reham tweeted she her car was shot at while she was returning from a wedding in the country’s federal capital. She said that her car was ambushed by two armed men on motorcycles who held the vehicle at gunpoint.

My PS & driver were in the car. This is Imran Khan’s New Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs & the greedy!!
I’d just switched vehicles. “In the car was my personal assistant and driver,” the former BBC personality explained. She also urged that the ostensibly elected administration be held accountable.
Reham, who has been a vocal opponent of the prime minister since the two divorced after only ten months of marriage, uploaded a photo of a police report filed at the Shams Colony police station in Islamabad in another tweet.

Two armed men on a motorcycle, wearing face masks and ranging in age from 25 to 30, attempted to halt the car. On Sunday, Khan had the automobile for the entire day. “However, she changed the automobile soon before the incident,” said Bilal Azmat, Khan’s personal secretary, in a FIR filed at the Shams Colony police station in Islamabad.
According to the FIR, Azmat had no animosity toward anyone, and it was suspected that he was being scared to send a message to Khan. The FIR stated, “The sole goal of scaring me is to scare Khan.”
The FIR cited three sections of the Pakistan Penal Code: Section 506 II (penalty for criminal intimidation), Section 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), and Section 511 (punishment for wrongful restraint) (punishment for attempting to commit offences)
