According to Minister for Information and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), the country’s state-owned broadcaster, has met a revenue target of Rs4 billion, which is one of the highest revenue goals it has ever met.

On Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry stated that when the current administration took office, the PTV was insolvent and that they had digitalized two stations and advocated a commercial model for the public broadcaster.
“Today, PTV is one of the state enterprises that is profitable,” said the minister of information.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan Television was removed from the list in 2021 by a cabinet committee on state-owned organisations.
