Police In Mexico Discover 45 Bags Of Human Remains

The state prosecutor’s office in Jalisco reports that 45 bags of human remains were found in a ravine in a Guadalajara suburb.

These remains matched the descriptions of seven missing contact center employees. The Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office, which is looking into the deaths, stated that based on its initial findings, some of the body parts “match the physical characteristics of some of the young people missing employees of the call center.”

In western Mexico’s Guadalajara metropolitan area, seven contact center employees were reported missing between May 20 and May 22. The human remains were discovered inside bags that had been left on a plot of land with an extremely steep slope, according to prosecutor Luis Joaqun Méndez Ruz of Jalisco. Forensic experts are still figuring out how many victims there were, as well as who they were. To identify human remains, the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences is collaborating with the relatives of individuals who are still unaccounted for.

With over 100,000 Mexican migrants still missing, the epidemic of disappearances that have plagued the nation is a source of great concern.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that Mexico is a safer country than the United States in March following the kidnapping of four Americans in Mexico, which resulted in the deaths of two of them.
