American magazine Playboy has featured social media influencer and Filipino beauty influencer Bretman Rock who joined the ranks of top celebrities for donning the legendary Playboy bunny suit.
Donning lingerie, black tights, a bow-tie, and bunny ears, the 23-old-year made ‘history’ by having the title of the first gay man to be featured on Playboy’s cover.
A post on the magazine’s official handle quoting Rock cited “For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community, and it’s all so surreal”.
It further added “a total ‘is this even fucking happening right now?’ type of vibe. And I’m so pretty.”

His appearance made headlines around the world as Playboy’s cover also marks the latest occurrence of the magazine breaking barriers for the LGBT community.
Rock celebrated his cover appearance in a tweet, jokingly writing: “I’m a Playboy bunny DUHHHHHH.”

The Hawaii-based influencer is the third man to appear on the cover of the cult-fave publication following the magazine’s founder, Hugh Hefner, and the musician Bad Bunny, who appeared on Playboy’s digital cover in 2020.
The model, who has more than 17 million followers on Instagram, garnered a lot of attention with his makeup tutorials on the video streaming platforms while he also owned his own cosmetics line.
Earlier in 2020, the Mexican vlogger and influencer Victoria Volkova became the first transgender woman to appear on Playboy’s cover.
The California-based lifestyle magazine also joins hands with Rock selling limited-edition clothing for Pride month.
