A bizarre story of an anonymous photographer, who deleted all wedding pictures in front of the groom, has made headlines across the globe and the reason behind such an unkind thing by the photographer somehow ‘validate’ the act.
Unfolding the event on a forum titled “Am I the Asshole”, a user that goes by the name of Icy Reserve 6995 revealed that why she deleted the entire photographs of her friend’s wedding.
Recalling the story, she penned down a detailed note which cited “I’m not really a photographer, I’m a dog groomer. I take lots of photos of dogs all day to put on my Facebook and Instagram, it’s “my thing” if that makes sense”.
She also added that one of her friends, who planned to get hitched in a low-budget ceremony, asked the user to shoot the event while being a friend to the newlywed, she agreed to take only $250 for the event.
She further added that initially she hesitated but the man – who hasn’t planned to pay a chunky amount to a professional photographer – convinced her for a 10-hour event.
It all started when the food was served at the event, as the hungry and tired photographer was told to continue taking pictures despite she asked for a short break for lunch. “In fact, they didn’t save me a spot at any table,” the distressed user wrote.
Narrating the ordeal she faced, she said the venue had no air-conditioning, while it was a scorching hot day and the groom told her to either be a photographer or leave without pay.
Annoyed by the hot weather, hunger, and the rude behavior of her friend, she deleted all of the photographs from his special day in front amid the function and then left following the row.
The caption further reads “If I was to be paid $250, honestly at that point I would have paid $250 just for a glass of cold water and somewhere to sit for five minutes.”
Many of the users also commented on the matter clapped back at the cold-hearted groom while others suggested that she should have given them the pictures in double or triple the price saying deleting them is not appropriate.
