The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) banned Tajzia, a BOL TV talk show presented by journalist Sami Ibrahim, on Thursday for airing Imran Khan’s controversial utterances.
The PEMRA notification states that “Khan’s words at the show gravely jeopardised the country’s national security, independence, sovereignty, dignity, and ideology, and it is a flagrant violation of Article 19 of the constitution, PEMRA Ordinance, and Electronic Media Code of Conduct” (2015).

On social media, PEMRA was chastised over the move. PEMRA was chastised on the internet for being biased. PEMRA later clarified that it simply prohibited the broadcast of Imran Khan’s words.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan warned in an interview with Sami Ibrahim that “the establishment needs to make the correct decisions, and if they don’t, the army would be decimated.”
I can promise you in writing that if the establishment does not make the proper decisions, the army and they will be destroyed. Pakistan is on the verge of default. “The country will be on a deadly path if the proper decisions are not made,” Imran Khan stated.

Nonetheless, his comments in Pakistan sparked a firestorm. Imran Khan’s comments was slammed by the PDM coalition. “No one can talk of fracturing Pakistan,” PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari stated. This is not a Pakistani’s language, but [Indian Prime Minister] Modi’s.
While I am in Turkey inking agreements, Imran Niazi is making naked threats against the country. If at all any proof was needed that Niazi is unfit for public office, his latest interview suffices. Do your politics but don't dare to cross limits & talk about division of Pakistan.
