Pakistan’s First Pro-Level Tournament for Professional PUBG Players launched

PUBG MOBILE, Pakistan’s largest online battle royale platform, has announced the arrival of the country’s first exclusive pro-level gaming competition, maintaining the company’s record of presenting innovative challenges for the country’s booming eSports industry.

The 2022 PUBG MOBILE Pro League Pakistan Spring (PMPL Pakistan) platform is a competitive professional stage where teams fight for a range of prizes.

The competition will be live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and a variety of other social media channels for audiences around the country, with professional PUBG MOBILE teams battling for 18 days, including three days of final stages.

The competition will begin on March 22nd, with the finals taking place between April 15th and 17th. The overall prize pool is PKR 17,600,000, which is the greatest prize pool ever for a PUBG MOBILE Tournament in Pakistan.

The teams that will compete in the PMPL Pakistan Spring in 2022 were picked using two methods: direct invitation and qualifying. To inaugurate the new PMPL qualification system, a one-time-only PMPL qualifier category was introduced in February.

Team, R3GICIDE, 3X ESPORTS, QWERTY, METERSHOTXSKY ESPORTS, TEAM TUF, 52XRAGE ESPORTS, and QUANTUM RAGE got direct invitations to compete in PMPL Pakistan 2022. The PMPL Pakistan qualifying qualified the other teams last month.

The PMPL will now run on a one-year cycle rather than seasonal relegation in order to increase excitement and create a more stable competitive environment. This means that teams competing in the upcoming PMPL Pakistan Spring will also compete in the Fall Split.

The first-ever PMPL Pakistan, which was launched this year, reflects Pakistan’s focus on professional PUBGM teams as well as its intentions to cultivate a vibrant local gaming scene.

A bevy of local celebrities and influencers have endorsed the competition. Artists such as Neelam Muneer Khan, Aima Baig, and Bilal Saeed will perform during the live stream of the finals while interacting with the gamers via chat.
