After emerging victorious from the “Uprising Korea 2023” Tekken tournament in Seoul Pakistani gamer Arslan “Ash” Siddique added another achievement to his resume.
Siddique, regarded as one of the best Tekken players alive right now, made history in August by becoming the first professional player to win the global Tekken 7 title four times. According to the well-known gaming website Event Hubs, over 110 participants registered for the “Uprising Korea 2023” event.
In the semifinals, Siddique defeated Atif Khan, a fellow Pakistani, with a score of 2-1. In the final, he defeated Galgonge, a South Korean, with a perfect score of 3-0. Siddique shared his gratitude on the social media platform X on Sunday night, expressing his appreciation for participating in the #Uprising2023 Challenger event in Korea. He also emphasized the significance of this victory, as it marked his first time competing in Korea alongside some of the most skilled players.

In contrast, Khan secured the fifth position in the tournament. He took to social media to extend his congratulations to Siddique for winning the championship. Khan expressed his disappointment about his own performance, admitting that he had hoped to claim the victory for the sake of TWT points but acknowledged that sometimes things don’t go as planned.

Siddique was part of the trio from Pakistan that won the Nations Cup in July in Riyadh. This competition was the first national Tekken tournament, and Pakistan emerged as the undefeated champions throughout the entire event.
