North Carolina University offering course on how to make $5000 per post on TikTok

A university in the United States (US) has started offering ‘TikTok classes’ to help students promote their businesses online.

‘Building Global Audiences,’ often known as ‘the TikTok class,’ is a full-credit course offered by Duke University in North Carolina to enable university students to learn how to maximize their social media presence.

Students have accumulated a total of 1,45,000 followers and more than 80 million views for the videos they generated in class.

Natalia Hauser generates anywhere from $1,000 to $7,000 a month through collaborations with Barnes & Noble, Macy’s, Canon, and Pepsi. She gained 12,000 followers during the semester, bringing her total to 2,27,000 followers. For a single post, she can earn up to $5,000.

According to Bloomberg, the workshop taught her how to bargain with businesses and determine how much she might charge for her services.

Professor Aaron Dinin, who taught social marketing at Duke’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute, came up with the idea for the course after noting that many pupils were engaged in content creation.

Students create and share TikTok trend videos with their peers. They approach brands for cooperation. Participants can compare their account’s data and goals and discuss why certain posts perform well or poorly, using specific tools and deep analysis.
