LAHORE – A Lahore court Wednesday issued the non-bailable arrest warrants for Pakistani actor and host Ayesha Sana as the accused failed to appear in the court after committing a cybercrime, it emerged on Tuesday.
Reports in local media quoting sources said the 48-year-old, who rose to fame with the Bright karein isey! viral clip was summoned by a court as the husband of Saiqa actor, Yousuf Baig, filed a case against her for posting the private pictures of his family that have brought disgrace upon his family.
Earlier, the case was registered with the cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigations Agency by Yousuf Baig, consequently, the court directed the famous host to show up for the hearing, which she reportedly failed twice, reports cited.
This isn’t the first time since she faced such circumstances as last year a case was lodged in the Defense police station from the complainant, Mian Ali Moeen, who accused her of cheque dishonored. The man who owns a real estate business in Punjab capital gave around Rs20 Million which she failed to refund.
She later handed over a cheque which was bounced due to the lack of funds in her bank account.
Earlier in 2016, the actor who once used to host the morning show on state broadcaster got viral overnight as her infamous Bright Karen Isay video took the internet by storm.
In the viral clip, the cameramen and other BTS crew members face Sana’s wrath as she screamed frantically over low light and poor makeup. She later claimed that it was her ex-husband who leaked the video on social media.
