Nationwide Football Trials Kicks Off under the PM Talent Hunt programme

The Prime Minister Sports Talent Hunt Programme will kick off all of Pakistan’s football trials for both men and women, with the best players being chosen for future development and exposure.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the special assistant to the prime minister for youth affairs, stated that the program has already begun with the registration of aspiring candidates who fall within a specific age range.

“The Nawaz Sharif administration launched the PM Youth Sports Development program in 2013. The program was a resounding success since both national and international athletes were prepared to stand up for their departments and countries, respectively.

She continued by saying that trials for volleyball and hockey had already been held as part of the PM Youth Talent Hunt campaign. To find talent for upcoming national and international competitions, Shaza said, “We have now begun football trials. According to the Prime Minister’s Youth Talent Hunt and Sports League, a total of 54,000 young people from different parts of the nation have been favorably involved in a variety of sporting events. Notably, volleyball trials were successfully held in 28 districts around the nation, and the Provincial Volleyball League is about to start. Similar to how football trials have come to an end, the Provincial Hockey League has already started in 25 locations around the country.

Shaza added that football has taken the front stage at this time. “The PM’s Football Talent Hunt trials, a ground-breaking project aimed at finding and fostering the football stars of the future, are happy to announce their nationwide start, as part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. This campaign is a huge step in the direction of promoting sports and giving young football fans a national stage on which to display their abilities. Trials for the PM’s Football Talent Hunt will be held throughout the nation, giving prospective footballers an unrivaled chance to compete in a disciplined and professional setting.

To ensure unbiased evaluation and thorough talent identification, the trials will be organized in cooperation with famous sports organizations, national football associations, and experienced coaches. She claimed that under Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s direction, the youth laptop program had also been revived to distribute 100,000 to students. The program has previously encountered difficulties, which forced its brief closure. It has now been resurrected because it was a crucial component of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.
