Naseem Shah Tops List of Most Searched Personalities in Pakistan 2022

Google has released the top search results in several categories for 2022, including the most popular person in Pakistan.

The top 10 cricket players are divided into two foreigners and five domestic cricket players. Interestingly, one of Pakistan’s top 10 searches in 2022 might be for a Bollywood actor. The top 10 Pakistani searchers on Google are:

Naseem Shah: Right-arm sprinter Naseem Shah is at the top of the list of Pakistani citizens who have been searched the most. His record-breaking performance in the Test series against Australia, his winning sixes against Afghanistan in the Asian Cup, as well as his mispronunciation of English language words, and his popularity among Indian actresses, are just a few of the reasons he has garnered media attention throughout the years.

Pervez Musharraf: Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf is the second most looked-up person on Google Pakistan in 2022. The death-related speculations that appeared earlier this year have been refuted by his family. He has lived there for a very long time. He served as president from 1999 to 2007.

Shadab Khan: Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan kept turning up in Google searches for both good and bad things. For failing to make critical catches against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022 championship match, he faced criticism from the general public. But he also achieved the distinction of being Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker.
