Impulsive Copy-Catters, Bollywood had the audacity of making a carbon copy of a Pakistani mega-hit song “Nach Panjaban” which was released two decades ago.
Lead vocalist Abra Ul Haq called out Karan Johar and Dharma Movies for stealing their music without permission on his social media.
After the trailer was distributed on the social media platform, Abral-ul-Haq immediately turned to the microblogging social media application Twitter and criticized Karan Johar.
He said he had not sold his rights to any Indian filmmaker.
“I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages,” he tweeted. “Producers like Karan Johar should not use copy songs. This is my sixth song being copied which will not be allowed at all.”

On Sunday, Dharma Productions released the film’s trailer Jugjugg Jeeyo on a social media account and shamelessly copied Billo crooner’s 2002 iconic song Nach Punjaban.

In the past, Abral-ul-Haq was in a difficult time with his songs “Nach Punjaban and Billo dy Ghar”. He faced numerous charges, lawsuits, and huge criticism over the songs.
Moviebox a UK-based production hub also came in the social media battlefield and tweeted that: ” Nach Panjaban has been officially licensed for it to be included in the Film “JugJugg Jeeyo” by @TSeries. @karanjohar & @DharmaMovies have the legal rights to use this song in their film and the tweet by @AbrarUlHaqPK earlier today is defamatory and completely unacceptable.”
