Mesut Ozil remembers Kashmir on holy night of Lailat al-Qadr

Mesut Ozil, a German footballer, decried human rights violations in the world’s “so-called” largest democracy on April 28.

The footballer prayed for the safety and well-being of his Muslim brothers and sisters in India on the holy night of Lailat al-Qadr.

The day when the Quran was fully revealed is known as Lailat al-Qadr.

He also questioned, calling it humiliating, the so-called world’s largest democracy’s human rights.

During the holy night of Lailat al-Qadr, praying for the safety and well-being of our Muslim brothers and sisters in India, the 33-year-old player posted on Twitter.

Let’s bring this heinous issue to the attention of the public! What is the status of human rights in the world’s apparently largest democracy?

He also addressed international peace earlier this month. Let us continue to pray for world peace, not just in Ukraine, but also in Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and wherever else where people are suffering from violence.
