Messi ready To Make a Surprise Switch to the Saudi Arabian Club Al Hilal Following Ronaldo’s Move to Al Nassr

Many social media accounts reported citing an Italian publication that Lionel Messi, one of the best football players of his time and frequently regarded as the best in the world, had agreed to join the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal shortly.

As soon as Cristiano Ronaldo joined their rivals, Al Nassr, Al Hilal club even put Messi’s clothes up for sale in their club store. The Al Hilal club has reportedly reached an agreement with Messi to soon join its team in exchange for a massive contract that will be the highest in history, according to the Italian newspaper “CalcioMercato.”

After Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Al Nassr club, Dr. Saad bin Tafela Al Ajmi, a former minister of information in Kuwait, stated that Al Hilal is seriously considering signing Messi to a contract to play for its squad. The ex-minister claimed that by signing Messi, the Saudi league will become the center of attention for football fans worldwide. Growing reports regarding Messi joining the Al Hilal club have been circulating on social media like wildfire over the past few months. Messi and Al Hilal club have not released any formal statements regarding the potential deal.

Christophe Galtier, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, stated that he is unsure if Lionel Messi will remain with the team for the upcoming campaign. Messi, 35, will be a free agent next summer if he doesn’t agree to a new deal with PSG.

The Argentine superstar’s contract with the French powerhouse has reportedly been extended through June 2024, and he has also been linked to a transfer to the Major League Soccer with Inter Miami.
