Islamabad to Murree in just Rs 100

You can now travel to Murree for just 100 rupees according to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), which has officially started running a shuttle bus service between Islamabad and Murree.

Travelers will find it easier to visit hill stations all year round because of the enhancement. The shuttle service travels between Lower Topa and Bhara Kahu, per the details. A bus departs from the terminal every 90 minutes; the one-way ticket is Rs. 100 per passenger. People over 65 and children under the age of 12 can travel for free. The public praises the government and CDA for providing a cost-effective form of transportation.

The shuttle service also aims to reduce traffic on the Murree Expressway during peak tourist seasons, according to Chairman CDA Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis, who made the statement during a news conference. The district administration in Islamabad and Rawalpindi developed a plan for handling any incidents before the rain and snowfall spell that affected the Rawalpindi region. According to Punjab Relief Commissioner Naveed Ahmed Shirazi, 8000 vehicles are allowed to enter Murree at a time, and CCTV cameras will be monitoring every road in the hill region.

In light of this, CDA launches a Shuttle service with extremely low pricing. Between Murree and Islamabad, a shuttle bus service has already been established. The Punjab government launched a previous effort of this kind in July 2022. During Eid-ul-Azha of last year, the province administration ran 15 buses between Islamabad and Murree, and tourists were then charged Rs. 100 for a one-way ticket.
