Infamous ‘Most Wanted Terrorist’ Ihsanul Haq Apprehended at Karachi Airport

Ihsanul Haq, one of the “most wanted terrorists,” has been detained at Karachi airport by immigration officers of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), according to ARY News on Sunday.

When Ihsanul Haq tried to leave for another country from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, FIA immigration authorities detained him. He was a “most wanted terrorist.” The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) is seeking a “terrorist,” according to the FIA spokesperson, and the government has set aside Rs1 million for each person.

The accused individual was included among the “most sought-after terrorists” and was named in several terrorism investigations. The statement further stated that Haq was turned over to the relevant authorities and that he is a Swabi citizen. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an information-based operation earlier in the month that resulted in the arrest and transfer of 13 unlawful Afghan citizens who were residing in Karachi.

The information-based operation was conducted in the Machhar Colony and Maripur suburbs, according to a CTD official. The Talash App was used to carry out the operation under the direction of skilled CTD personnel. During the raids, 46 people had their identification examined, and 13 Afghans were discovered to be living in Karachi without a permit. The Afghan nationals were delivered to the relevant police station for further action, according to the representative.
