As protests erupted outside the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s Avenfield property in London, the party decided to react by holding a rally outside Jemima Goldsmith’s mother’s house.
Following the no-confidence motion that removed PTI Chairman Imran Khan from administration, PTI workers at home and abroad have staged rallies against what their leader has described as a “foreign conspiracy” against his government.
The decision was harshly panned on social media, with many users claiming that Jemima should not be pulled into the controversy because she has no ties to Pakistani politics.

Jemima Khan has also spoken out against the demand for protests outside her home, claiming that she and her children are uninterested in Pakistani politics. She also compared the chaotic environment to the tumultuous condition in Lahore in the 1990s, when she lived there.
However, when PML-N supporters went outside to conduct a protest outside of Jemima’s 88-year-old mother’s house on Monday, she asked the police if it was lawful.
Jemima took to Twitter to share a video of PML-N workers shouting slogans against PTI demonstrators outside Nawaz’s house, threatening that if they didn’t stop, PML-N supporters would “invade their bedrooms.”
Jemima, on the other hand, stated in her tweet that the threats were aimed at both her and her sons.

After Imran Khan’s dismissal, Jemima has not made any political statements, but her brothers Zac Goldsmith, a UK government minister, and Ben Goldsmith have expressed support for their former brother-in-law.
After Lord Zac Goldsmith interfered in Pakistani politics and tweeted in favour of Imran Khan, the British government distanced itself from him last week.
