PTV broadcasted the programme.
On March 29, his daughter, actor Madiha Iftikhar, posted on Instagram the news of Ahmed’s death. She stated, “Today, my prayers for my father’s health morphed into prayers for my father to be granted Paradise.” “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and we will return to Allah.”
Ahmed received a PTV prize for Boltay Haath in 1986, according to Ahmed’s daughter. She posted a video of him accepting the award at the PTV Awards show.
She wrote, “My beloved father Syed Iftikhar Ahmed” while accepting a special award from PTV at the PTV Awards in 1986. “Boltay Haath was a one-of-a-kind creature. My parents created an educational programme in 1984 to teach people sign language. The goal was to build a bridge between deaf people and the rest of society.”
Ahmed was a well-known figure among the deaf community. The news of his death was rapidly disseminated on social media by community members.
