There are big star-launching contests called the “Little Mo” Tournaments. The nickname Little Mo was given to Maureen Connolly, the first female to win a Grand Slam and the winner of nine major singles titles. She was a strong player in her period and the first person in history to win a title at all four major events without dropping a set. Haniya was first sponsored when she was nine years old by Abdul Razak Dawood, the founder of the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD) Foundation. Abdul Razak Dawood once stated about Haniya that her zeal, passion, and discipline will one day make her a world-class tennis player. He is thrilled to see this new talent. A star is emerging for Pakistan.

Haniya Minhas made history by defeating Tunisia in the final match of her group in May 2022. Zeineb Jaiez, the top-ranked player in Tunisia, was defeated by Haniya Minhas in the decisive match, 6-0, 6-0, and she has now advanced to the quarterfinals. The Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Championship is won for the first time by a Pakistani female, Haniya Minhas. In the Quarter Finals of the IMG Future Stats competition at Greece Attens, Haniya will face off against Astria, Anna Pircher. Haniya’s achievement in reaching the Final 8 out of the 24 best female tennis players in the Tennis World Championship has brought honor to her family and Pakistan.

She won the Asian Tennis Federation 14&U competition, becoming the first female from the nation to do so. Haniya defeated second seed Sumaya Tukhtaeva in the championship match of the Asian Tennis Federation 14&U Sobir Cup in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The 10-year-old extended her remarkable run at the competition without dropping a set as she overcame Sumaya of Tajikistan 6-1, 6-0.
