Prime Minister Imran Khan opened the long-awaited Gilgit-Skardu road, which is expected to promote the tourism economy.
Jaglot is connected to the Karakoram highway by a 167-kilometer road network. The project’s paperwork began in 2009, while the actual construction was completed in 2017. The journey time on this road has been decreased from 8 to 3 hours, allowing more people to see Skardu’s splendor.
