Security forces, on the other hand, resisted the public, including children, and attempted to prevent them from approaching General Bajwa.

General Bajwa arrived with Prime Minister Imran Khan at the end of the parade and walked with him to see him off. Meanwhile, 36 military officers were on hand to send Prime Minister Imran Khan. This might be interpreted as a sign from the establishment and the Prime Minister that there has been no wrongdoing between the Prime Minister and General Bajwa.
