First image of Humayun Saeed and Elizabeth Debicki s Made Public in ‘The Crown’

Dr. Hasnat Khan, played by renowned Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed, will make his first appearance in Season 5 of the well-liked Netflix series “The Crown.”

The first time Khan met Princess Diana was in 1995 while working as a cardiac surgeon in Pakistan. While Diana was visiting a friend whose husband was having surgery with Khan, she struck up a friendship with him, which is depicted in “The Crown” as having happened. According to Khan’s 2004 testimony to the Metropolitan Police, which was given in 2008 to a coroner’s inquest into Princess Diana’s death, she ended their relationship after meeting Dodi Fayed while on holiday with Mohamed Al Fayed and his family.

In a car accident in Paris in 1997, Dodi Fayed and Princess Diana perished together. Princess Diana and Hasnat Khan, according to Saeed, were opposed. He was a very ordinary man in every way, and I think Princess Diana was drawn to him because of this. I have never portrayed a real-life person on television, and it was a huge duty to play Dr. Hasnat Khan, who is well-known thanks to Princess Diana, Saeed continued. He was distinctive to Princess Diana because of his charisma and simplicity. The actor believes that the relationship’s simplicity and how it is depicted on television would be loved by viewers.

After making his acting debut in the 1999 Urdu film “Inteha,” Humayun Saeed went on to have a successful career in both film and television. He won Pakistan’s ARY award for best actor for his roles in the action comedy “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” in 2015 and its sequel “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2” in 2018. Other notable roles include those in “Project Ghazi,” a science fiction film that he co-produced, and “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” (2019). “London Nahin Jaunga,” which was released earlier this year, had Saeed as both the lead and producer.

Muhammad Yaqoob and Hamid Hussain from Action Consultancy are Saeed’s representatives. His participation in “The Crown” was announced by Variety. In season five of “The Crown,” Elizabeth Debicki, who portrayed Tenet’s Elizabeth, plays Princess Diana. The 1990s were a challenging decade for the royal family, and several events, such as the devastating fire that destroyed Windsor Castle, Princess Anne’s divorce, and Prince Charles’ and Prince Andrew’s separation from their wives, could be covered. Despite the casting suggesting that Season 5 will concentrate on the period preceding and including Diana’s passing, the 1990s were a difficult decade for the royal family. According to earlier reports, The Crown’s upcoming season may include a scene focusing on Diana’s passing. Everyone involved, according to Debicki, is treating how the tragedy is depicted on the show as delicately as they can.
