A trending Twitter conversation has gained momentum as users on social media platforms share their memorable encounters with celebrities.
Among those participating, journalist Sabahat Zakariya chimed in with her own story about witnessing an incident of sexist behavior during a Junoon concert featuring former lead singer Ali Azmat. Sabahat recounted her experience at a college concert, where she remembered the ‘Sayonee’ singer approaching her and inquiring, ‘Are there any attractive young women in the audience?’ Sabahat, who had helped organize the Junoon concert at the college and had been backstage just moments before it began, found herself taken aback by Ali Azmat’s question. Unsure of how to respond, she replied, ‘They are just like all the other girls… like me, like anyone else,’ before making her exit.

Numerous individuals on Twitter voiced their anger regarding Ali Azmat’s sexist conduct. Additionally, a different user recounted an incident at a school concert where the singer’s behavior was less than exemplary. They mentioned, “He did, at least, engage in conversation with you. In our case, our society organized a concert for him, and he appeared on stage while intoxicated, delivered his performance, and left without making any effort to communicate with the event organizers who had been eagerly awaiting him.”
