Fayyaz Chohan calls Rana Sanaullah mustache wearing monkey

Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan addressed the media and advised Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, to be on the lookout for the day he takes over in the position after calling him ‘monkey with mustache’.

He addressed Rana Sanaullah by stating that he is only the Interior Minister from Bhara Kahu to Golra Mor and from Golra Mor to Rawat now. He added that these threats won’t frighten PTI members or lawmakers.

Ministers from the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) have attacked Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), for making accusations of vote manipulation in the Punjab by-elections, according to ARY News on July 18, 2022.

A press conference was held by the interior minister Rana Sanaullah and the information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. He said that PTI won the by-elections for 15 seats in the provincial assembly. He criticized Imran Khan for making accusations of vote manipulation despite winning the majority of PA seats.

He stated that people typically accuse the election commission of fixing the results after losing the popular vote, but one person has done so even after winning. PTI’s victory on the majority of seats was not anticipated. While the PML-N was in power, transparent by-elections were held, and no constituency complained about the kidnapping of election personnel or the peace and order situation. During his administration, Imran Khan documented vote-rigging in by-elections, and the PTI government was also involved in the abduction of election officials.

He declared that Imran Khan’s actions are unacceptable and that the PML-N will not permit him to make aggressive remarks about the government’s institutions. Sanaullah claimed that Imran Khan had attacked the ECP shortly after the commission had reserved judgment on the issue involving PTI foreign donations. In spite of losing the by-elections, he continued, the PML-N has complete faith in the election commission and the government stood strongly with all ECP members.

He declared that the PML-N would run again in the upcoming elections. Sanaullah stated that Pervaiz Elahi had 188 votes in the provincial parliament, while PML-N fell short by 5 votes in the impending elections for the new chief minister (CM) in Punjab. The chief ministership would have been difficult for Pervaiz Elahi to obtain, he continued, if five MPs had not been present at the provincial assembly on July 22.
