Cristiano Ronaldo’s Historic Achievement: Reaching the Remarkable Milestone of 850 Career Goals

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 850th career goal during a match in the Saudi Pro League, where Al Nassr secured a 5-1 victory against Al-Hazm.

With his amazing performance, Ronaldo not only helped Al Nassr win their third straight league game but also scored six goals in the last three games and provided two assists. Sadio Mane added a goal to the tally, demonstrating the team’s formidable offensive capabilities. The 38-year-old Ronaldo, always dedicated to his team, expressed his happiness on social media, stating, “Yet another exceptional display by the team! We continue to get better. Excited for the journey with @AlNassrFC… 850 career goals and the tally continues to rise!”

Ronaldo, who transferred to Al-Nassr from Manchester United in December, has been in incredible form, scoring 26 goals in just 30 games for his new team. This outstanding accomplishment comes after his historic milestone of reaching his 800th career goal while playing for Manchester United in December 2021. Announcing his joy on social media after the recent triumph, Ronaldo wrote, ‘Another wonderful team performance! We keep improving. 850 career goals and still going.’ With this victory, Al-Nassr has closed the gap on league leaders Al-Hilal to only four points.

The league leaders defeated Al-Ittihad on Friday in a thrilling 4-3 victory, thanks in large part to a hat-trick from Aleksander Mitrovic. Karim Benzema also scored for the home team. In the meantime, Al-Ettifaq’s impressive 3-1 win against Damac received significant contributions from Moussa Dembele, who scored two goals. Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq team ended their two-match winless streak with this victory, while Al-Nassr’s latest triumph extended their unbeaten streak to four games. In a different match, a star-studded Al-Ahli team, led by Roberto Firmino, Gabri Veiga, Riyad Mahrez, and Allan Saint-Maximin, was stunned by Al-Fateh, losing 5-1 and falling farther behind in the league standings.
