According to company statement, on Monday, Twitter’s Chief technology officer Parag Agrawal took over Twitter as previous CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey decides to resign from his position as chief of the social media company, effective immediately.

Jack Dorsey is 45 years old American serving as CEO of Twitter and Sequare. According to Company’s Statement in the meeting of stockholders, Jack Dorsey will endure as a member of the board until his time period expires at the 2022.
COO Bret Taylor and Sales force President will be the Chairman of the board, supervening a former Google executive Patrick Pichette who will also be part of company as chair of the audit Committee.
Agrawal 37 years old Indian American took over position of CEO of company. Agrawal was working as CTO since 2017 and was part of company for more than a decade.

Dorsey Declared in a Tweet, “I’ve decided to leave Twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders,” although he didn’t issue any additional detail on why he assured to leave his position as CEO of the company.
Earlier, he has been in charge of strategy involving artificial intelligence and machine learning and he was a part of various projects to make tweets in users’ timelines more related to them.
He was also part of Research internship at AT&T, Microsoft and Yahoo before becoming part of Twitter company. According to Jack Dorsey He has chosen Agrawal for the position of CRO “for some time given how deeply he understands the company and its needs.”
