Ayesha Gul – First Woman AIG of KP

As the Assistant Inspector General (AIG), a woman police officer has been appointed for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (K-P) history.

Ayesha Gul, a native of Swabi, was the first female member of the provincial police force to earn this distinction. The Peshawar-based police official has assumed control of her new position. She declared that she will seek to preserve the rights of women, transgender people, and children as AIG Gender Equality. Managing the district as a female cop is “no less than a task,” SP K-P police, according to Sonia, is a brave group of individuals. She expressed her appreciation for the chance to help the residents of the Chitral district.  She stated that she joined the police force to inspire and push other women to take the lead and pave the way. Her spouse and father have been a great help to her. Initially, due to the nature of the police profession, most people tried to dissuade her.

Serving as a DPO in Chitral is a difficult duty, SP Sonia continued. Her top objective will be to inspire other women to step up and take the initiative. The female police officer revealed that she had three children while describing her family to this reporter. Her in-laws are also pleased with her new job. The K-P police commander praised the hiring of a female DPO and referred to the provincial police as a force of martyrs. According to merit, he declared they are providing a great opportunity to women. In the elite force and traffic department, there are a lot more female police officers.
