Arabic teacher killed a 12 year old girl outside of her school student in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The culprit escaped after committing the crime but later in the day the police arrested him with the murder weapon.
Police said that the 21-year-old teacher named Adil from Abbottabad used to visit the victim’s house to teach her the Holy Quran.
A few days ago, the girl’s parents barred him from teaching their daughter over “suspicions”, according to the police complaint.
On Monday, when the girl went to the tuition center, Adil also reached there and stabbed her with a sharp object in neck, killing her on the spot.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot, collected the evidence, and shifted the girl’s body to the hospital for postmortem.
Taking notice of the killing, CPO Umar Saeed Malik instructed senior police officials to reach the spot. SP Rawal Babar Javed Joya said that the accused has been arrested along with the murder weapon. He added that evidence has been collected from the scene.
The SP said that the accused admitted that the girl’s family was suspicious that’s why he killed her. He added that they were investigating the case from all angles
