Another PIA Crew member vanishes upon landing in Canada

After the airline’s flight from Islamabad to Toronto, a PIA flight steward is said to have vanished in Canada.

Ejaz Ali Shah, according to PIA sources, traveled to Canada from Islamabad on PIA aircraft PK-781 and was scheduled to return to Islamabad on flight PK-782 on October 16, but he mysteriously vanished from the Toronto airport. Initiating disciplinary proceedings against the crew member for failing to report for duty, the PIA administration notified the Canadian Border Security Force. The national airline’s spokeswoman claimed that seven personnel, including three female air hostesses who escaped and made it to Canada over two years, had been fired and that further action would be taken against them after the inquiry was over.

According to the representative, all flight attendants on duty on flights heading to Toronto had their declarations taken. Upon arrival in Toronto, air hostesses are required to provide the station manager with their passports. Ejaz Ali Shah, a flight attendant, is also the focus of an investigation, the spokesman said. He will be fired from his work through departmental action after the investigation is finished and the charge of breaking rules and regulations is proven. Ijaz Ali Shah, a flight attendant, is also the president of the People’s Unity CBA Union.

Another problem for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in February 2021 involves an air hostess who vanished after arriving in Toronto recently. Express News stated that air hostess Zahida Baloch, who was a member of the flight’s crew, vanished once they arrived in Canada. Following the arrival of the return flight PK-784, which was meant to be carrying Baloch, the authorities learned of her absence.

The airline is aware of the crew member’s disappearance, according to a PIA representative, and will take appropriate action against her by the code of conduct. The official also said that, by established procedures, the Canadian Immigration Authority had been notified of the incident.

Canada breaks 100 year record by welcoming 401,000 immigrants in just 2021

The news came days after a male crew member on the flight from Islamabad to Toronto vanished after landing in Canada. On January 29, Ramzan Gul “disappeared” after the PIA flight arrived at its destination.
