Four people including son of renowned anchorperson of Express News, Javed Chaudhry, were arrested for hurling threats and harassing the students and staff of a college in Islamabad’s F-11 sector.
A user of Instagram said he was the one who first reported the incident with his friend, a mother of two, who called him, saying some people in grey Vigo truck were chasing her.
He said he called the police but got no response. But following the first call, police got another call reporting the incident at the college.
According to Superintendent of Police, Saddar Zone, Nosherwan Ali, the arrested men were drunk at the time of the incident. He said they were produced before the court from where they were handed over to the police on judicial remand.
