The youngster was transported in a formal vehicle and according to the proper protocol from his home to the chief’s office while wearing a police uniform. Mr. Rashid welcomed him with a bouquet as soon as he entered the DPO office. In the workplace were also some of Faizan’s friends and family. The DPO chair was presented to him.
Together with that, he spent a day at the smart city office. A briefing on the operation of the CCTV cameras and other topics was provided to the honorary DPO by the branch manager. Faizan went to the Saddar Police Station as well, and the SHO gave him a warm welcome. He stated that one day he would like to become an officer in the police force. DPO Rashid told the media that youngsters should be encouraged because doing so may help them concentrate on their studies.
In 2017, another child with blood cancer served as Faisalabad’s senior traffic officer for a single day. A 9-year-old Tehsil Jaranwala boy named Abdullah Noor has blood cancer. Noor stated a desire to work as a police officer someday while undergoing treatment. Shehbaz Khan Wazir, the current chief traffic officer in Faisalabad, heard the boy’s request and decided right away to approve it for one day. Abdullah received an invitation to the neighborhood police station with a real CTO officer’s outfit. He was sent there with a complete protocol from Allied Hospital, where he was receiving care.
When Noor arrived at the police station, the traffic wardens gave him a warm welcome and offered him the CTO chair. Thereafter, in order to see the activities of the many traffic wardens on duty, he was taken to other roads in the city. Dr. Khalid and Dr. Khurram, who oversaw the Allied Hospital ward where Noor had been admitted, were also with him the entire day.
They expressed their gratitude and remarked that such thoughtful acts will support the young patient’s treatment. On this particular occasion, Abdullah Noor gave directions, and the entire team complied with them exactly as said.
