YouTube has launched YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in Pakistan, providing a greater viewing experience without advertisements, background play, and offline video downloads.
YouTube Premium also features YouTube Music Premium, offering ad-free music, background play, and music downloads. YouTube Music is a dedicated music streaming app, which includes original songs, albums, playlists, artist radio, and a sizable library of remixes, live performances, covers, and music videos. Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Pakistan Director, expressed delight about delivering these services to Pakistan, where the creative sector is expanding quickly.
Local artists are growing their global fan bases by uploading their content on YouTube. The launch of YouTube Music and YouTube Music Premium in Pakistan is seen as a significant opportunity that holds great promise for the country’s music sector. The monthly price for YouTube Premium is Rs479, while the monthly price for YouTube Music Premium is Rs299.00. Additionally, there are family plans and exclusive student plans available. EMI Zeeshan Chaudhry, the chief operating officer of Pakistan, regards this release as a major step forward for Pakistani music internationally.
Xulfi, Curator, and Producer of Coke Studio Pakistan, is also excited about the launch of YouTube Music, as it will give musicians and artists more chances to reach a larger audience. YouTube Premium’s standout features include ad-free viewing, background play, and offline video access.
Internet services disrupted as underwater Cable Goes Offline
In contrast, YouTube Music Premium provides features such as background playback, ad-free music, and the ability to download songs. Eligible subscribers can take advantage of a unique introductory promotion that grants them one month of free access to either YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium. The YouTube Music app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
