‘Woman-Zahir Jafar’ who chopped spouse into pieces admits, smiles away in court

Woman who killed and chopped spouse into pieces admitted to her crime in court while smiling away. She said that she killed and sliced up 65-year-old Dr Mohammad Sohail because she was scared.

Last week a call was received by Karachi police saying that a pair of chopped-off human hands have been seen on the street of the residential area in Karachi’s Saddar neighbourhood.

When the police arrived and broke into a suspicious flat they found pieces of human body in different rooms of the flat while the above mentioned woman was sound asleep in clothes stained with blood.

Police claimed on Friday that a woman was arrested for allegedly murdering and dismembering her husband. The police revealed that the couple was addicted to ice and got into a scuffle that night which led to this gruesome ending.

The woman, named Rubab, killed and sliced her husband, 65-year-old Dr Mohammad Sohail, into pieces inside the jurisdiction of Preedy police station, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Zubair Nazeer Shaikh.

He went on to say that she then sliced his body parts and placed them in various rooms of the house and later went to sleep.

The body parts of the deceased were found from the premises, according to the police officer. The woman’s possessions were seized, including a knife and other items she used in the crime, he added.

The police’s crime scene squad has been brought in to collect evidence from the house, according to SSP Shaikh.
