WATCH: Video of Babar Azam flying kite during practice gone viral

As spring approaches, basant festivities begin all around the country. People celebrate this event by barbecuing and dancing with their loved ones to a range of tunes in addition to flying kites.

Some people, including Babar Azam, the national captain, may not be able to fully appreciate the festivities. He was now preparing for the historic Test series between Australia and New Zealand.

The 27-year-old, on the other hand, seemed to have found a way to participate in the Basant celebrations by flying a kite during a practice session at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The video reveals that the Basant holiday is an important part of Pakistani culture and that it is quite difficult to dissuade anyone from flying kites for an extended amount of time, whether a commoner or a celebrity.

While the national team’s preparations are nearing completion, fans’ excitement for the historic Australia tour, which will take place after nearly 24 years, is at an all-time high.

A three-match Test series, three-match ODI series, and a one-off T20I all are part of the historic tour.

The test session will begin with the first Test, which will be held at Rawalpindi from March 4 to 8.
